About these terms

FootprintWorks is a small, online-only business run by one person. These terms describe how FootprintWorks works with website clients. Each private client agreement will identify the contracting party and confirm your scope and payment terms before paid work begins.

Founding-client website package

The founding-client package is a custom website of up to five pages for $1,000, offered to the first three clients. You supply approved business copy, your logo, and usable photos. The package includes up to two consolidated rounds of revisions.

Work quoted separately

Added pages, major redesigns, extensive copywriting, bilingual translation, online store or payment setup, booking tools, and custom integrations are quoted separately and need your approval before any work begins.

Demo, deposit, and payment

We first share a private demo. A $100 deposit is due only after you accept the demo and choose in writing to proceed. If you decline, no deposit is due. The remaining $900 is due after you approve the completed website and before launch. Invoices are sent securely through Square. Payment methods are shown on each invoice.

Timeline

Our target is to complete and launch the project within 48 hours after we receive the deposit and all required project information. This is a target, not a guaranteed deadline. If materials or feedback are delayed, the timeline may pause until we receive them.

Deliverables and ownership

You receive the final custom deliverables after full payment. FootprintWorks keeps ownership of its pre-existing reusable tools and materials. Third-party assets, such as fonts or photos, remain subject to their own licenses.

Optional care plan

An optional founding-client care plan costs $200 per month and is offered to the first three clients. It starts at launch only if you accept it. It includes up to 60 minutes per month of site health, usability, and performance review, plus small adjustments. Unused time does not roll over. Larger or additional work is quoted separately and needs your approval. Our normal response time is within five business days. We do not offer emergency or same-day service, and we do not guarantee traffic, leads, or sales. You may cancel before the next renewal, which stops future recurring invoices. You keep your website.

Cancellation

If a project is cancelled, we will account for the work already performed and return any prepaid amount that has not been earned.

Sample concepts and client work

The concepts on the Portfolio page are fictional samples, not client work or client results. We do not publish client demos, names, or assets without the client’s written permission.
